Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Aldric AI assistant mobile application (“App”) and the COSAI web platform at cosai.cloud (“Platform”), collectively the “Services.” These terms supplement our Terms of Service, which govern billing, subscriptions, and account matters.
1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You will not:
- Use Aldric to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or phishing communications.
- Use voice or camera features to record, surveil, or monitor others without their knowledge and consent.
- Attempt to bypass Aldric's safety boundaries, approval gates, or usage limits.
- Use the Services to generate harmful, misleading, defamatory, or illegal content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App or Platform.
- Use the Services to build a competing product or replicate core functionality.
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
- Attempt to access other users' data, accounts, or sessions.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Services (except through our documented APIs).
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity when Aldric acts on your behalf.
2. Voice and Camera Use
The App may access your device's microphone and camera to provide voice interaction and visual understanding features. By enabling these features, you acknowledge:
- Microphone: Audio is streamed in real time to Google Gemini for processing. Raw audio is not stored after processing. You are responsible for informing others if they may be recorded during voice interactions, in compliance with applicable recording consent laws.
- Camera: Camera frames are sent to Google Gemini for visual understanding. Frames are processed in real time and not stored. You are responsible for using camera features in compliance with applicable privacy laws and with respect for the privacy of others.
- Smart Glasses: If you use Aldric with Meta Ray-Ban or other smart glasses (Elite plan), the same camera and audio policies apply. You must comply with Meta's terms of use for their hardware in addition to these terms.
- Whisper Mode: Passive coaching mode listens to ambient audio. You are responsible for ensuring that use of this feature complies with local laws regarding audio recording in your jurisdiction.
3. AI Actions and Approvals
Aldric can take actions on your behalf, including sending messages, managing calendar events, and interacting with third-party services. You acknowledge:
- You are responsible for all actions: Actions executed by Aldric are performed on your behalf and under your authority. You are responsible for reviewing and approving actions before execution.
- Approval workflow: Actions with external side effects require your explicit approval unless you configure automated policies.
- Viral signature: Outbound actions (emails, messages) executed by Aldric may include a signature identifying Aldric as the sender on your behalf.
- No guarantee of accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors. You should review all actions before approving them.
4. Memory and Data
Aldric stores personal facts and preferences you share (“Memories”) to provide personalized assistance. You acknowledge:
- Memories are encrypted on your device (AES-GCM) before being synced to the cloud.
- Memory retention varies by plan: Starter (7-day retention), Pro and Elite (permanent).
- You can view, edit, or delete your memories at any time through the App or Platform.
- Conversation history retention varies by plan: Starter (7 days), Pro (30 days), Elite (90 days).
- Upon account deletion, all memories and conversation history are permanently removed within 30 days.
5. Subscription Management
You can manage your subscription through the following channels:
- Web: Visit cosai.cloud and navigate to Settings to manage your plan, update payment methods, or cancel.
- iOS App: Open Settings > Billing to upgrade, downgrade, or manage your subscription.
- Stripe Portal: You can access the Stripe customer portal directly to update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel your subscription.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.
- Refunds are available under our 30-Day Aldric Guarantee for first-time subscribers.
6. Usage Limits
Each subscription tier has usage limits. Current limits are published on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify usage limits with reasonable notice. If you consistently exceed your plan's limits, we may recommend upgrading to a higher tier or temporarily restrict access to certain features until the next billing period.
7. Content Standards
You are responsible for all content you create, share, or instruct Aldric to generate through the Services. Content must not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Contain personally identifiable information of others without their consent.
- Be designed to harass, threaten, or defame any person.
- Promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activities.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms of Use. In the event of termination for cause, you may not be entitled to a refund for the current billing period. You may terminate your account at any time through Settings.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
